In an ongoing effort to bring technical solutions to your engineering challenges, this month we are highlighting our precision measurement systems from Freedom Technologies.
The Meclab Series is designed for bench top operation. It can be used to measure a wide variety of parts on a sample inspection basis and also gauge pins for calibration. It can measure parts up to 149mm (5.87”) in diameter and to a repeatability of ± 0.1µm (0.000004”). A complete line of fixtures are available for supporting parts. Meclab is ideally suited for incoming inspection, final test, production monitoring and quality control.
Meclab enables fast and repeatable measurements for diameter, ovality, run out, edge position, gaps between parts, taper, throats and peaks. These tasks are easily performed and can be compared to programmed tolerance limits.
